I need to stop looking at old photos from back home because I start to miss everyone and New Zealand like crazy. I never quite knew how good I had it when I was there...not just in the way that life is cruisy and laid-back, but there's something in the air, the trees, the way the green of everything is so crisp and alive and yet soothing, the beautifully generous beaches, the stinging afternoon sun. It's not quite possible to put it into words, what kiwi land does to people, but it makes my heart ache I miss it so. I'm so fortunate that I was able to share it with the bestest of friends for so many years.
New Zealand I love you, I'm back real soon. Can't wait.
